The Story of 'Harit'

How It All Started

More than 500 Million Tonnes of stubble is produced and burnt in India, causing pollution. 62 million tonnes of cork waste is irresponsibly disposed causing environmental damage. More than 7 million tonnes of Bamboo produce is left unutilised in India; causing losses to farmers. More than 100 artisans of Rajasthan who performed woodcraft art did suicide due to lack of work and income. All of this lead to economic losses of INR 7 trillion, causing 1,20,000 deaths and asthma cases.

"Every problem has a solution. The problem is to find a solution to the problem."
